Black Friday is approaching fast, which means that video game offers are just around the corner. Players who want to purchase a new console or great games at low prices should start training right now. Every year Black Friday brings huge discounts on all games and consoles, and this year the event will take place on November 29.
So, what shall we expect from this Black Friday? Many retailers will have good offers, including game titles that were released earlier this year. We also expect big discounts on consoles such as PS4 and Xbox One, considering that these platforms are already reaching the end of their life cycle.
To help you find the best deals on Black Friday, we set out our forecasts of what can be offered during the holidays to give shoppers an idea of what to look for. Our predictions are based on the latest trends in the gaming industry and historical data from past Black Friday sales.
Xbox Console Offers
It seems like the company will give us great opportunities to buy the console, as it did in 2018. For example, the Xbox One S was offered for only $200 during Amazon's premier day, so we expect a deeper discount on Black Friday. The Xbox One S costs about $250 right now, but we predict that this price will fall to $175 on Black Friday. On the other hand, the Xbox One X will cost $350 or less and will most likely be offered with one of the exclusive games.
The Xbox One X will celebrate its second birthday in November, so be ready for more special offers. The Xbox One S has been available for over three years now, and with the advent of the next generation of the Xbox Project Scarlett, probably ahead of the 2020 holiday, this is probably the last important year for Black Friday deals for these consoles. This November will be the last major retail event, where the Xbox One X and Xbox One S will be the first Microsoft consoles. So, if you planned to buy one of Xbox consoles, Black Friday is the best time to get one.
Most of all, you can benefit from buying the top Xbox One X, which will cost you $150. Despite the fact that this event is still far away, Microsoft has already started selling popular games at a discounted price. New discounts are coming soon. There are no details, but we have our suspicions.
Best Bundles To Consider
Xbox One X 1TB Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™, Black Edition – $350;
Xbox One S 1TB with Jedi Fallen Order – $200;
Xbox One X (with Gears 5) – $350;
Xbox One S 1TB All-Digital Edition – $150.
The deals listed are available now by different retailers, but we think that similar offers will be accessible in the Black Friday season as well.
As for games, it is likely that prices will change on Black Friday. Games released from the end of last year to the beginning of 2019, such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Mortal Kombat 11, Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry 5, and many others, seem to get huge discounts. Anyway, games that will be released a few weeks before Black Friday, such as Pokemon Sword and Shield and Death Stranding, are likely to save a little. Therefore, as Black Friday approaches, you have to plan ahead and make a list of the things you really want to buy.
By the way, the official Xbox site invites you to join the Xbox community by getting the Xbox Game Ultimate Pass. The Pass provides more than 100 exclusive games and different amenities. Xbox Game Ultimate Pass is available for $1 the first three months.
Retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy are also likely to lower the prices on Xbox consoles this year, and you can make a rather profitable purchase. Each retailer will attempt to move their Xbox One X and Xbox One S stocks this Black Friday. With lots of game kits, lots of special offers, and the lowest prices that we ever expected, this is what will the Xbox One X Black Friday deals offer.
The massive sale on the Xbox Store will begin on November 24 and last until December 2, 2019. In addition, Black Friday members of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold have early access starting November 21.
More Xbox News
Microsoft is returning Xbox All Access. The overall financing plan/subscription for the full Xbox experience and the new plan includes an update item for Project Scarlett. The new purchase option will be available next month in selected retail stores, giving players the opportunity to choose which Xbox console they prefer bundled with the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Prices in the UK are still TBA, but in the US, you can purchase the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition for 24 monthly payments of $19.99, or Xbox One S for 24 payments in $22.99, and Xbox One X for 24 payments of $30.99. Although you will need to start paying for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate separately.
Microsoft also provides All Access customers with an easy way to Project Scarlett: people who sign up for the Xbox One S will be eligible to upgrade after 18 months of payment by trading on their old console and launching the new All Access plan. But those who get Xbox One X can turn to Scarlett in 12 months. If you choose the latter, there is a good chance that you can go directly from your X to Project Scarlett immediately or very soon after launch, as it still arrives on Holiday 2020.
Please note that you need to qualify with a financial partner and sign an agreement, not just pay in cash or by card, as Xbox All Access is a form of the payment plan, not a subscription.
