Vote For Your Favorite Content On Google Play

In the Google app store for Android, voting began, and all users can participate in it until November 25th. Winners will be announced on December 3rd.

And the Google Play Award Goes To…

The festive event dedicated to 2019 best apps and games took place on May 6th, 2019. It was just a day before the Google I/O Developer Conference in Mountain View, where the giant presented the new version of Android and a couple of new Pixel smartphones.

Google has two categories devoted entirely to mobile games, one of which represents ‘overall design, usability, involvement and retention of the user for the gameplay’. Other categories focus on the professionalism of the developers who ‘create unique artistic visual effects thanks to your creditable imagination and the use of advanced graphics API features’.

Surprisingly, all five games, that are nominants for the ‘Best Revolutionary Game of the Year’ can be downloaded for free, including the world-famous Garena Free Fire (more than 100 million downloads), a nostalgic MMORPG called Old School RuneScape, and several representatives of popular franchises (Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, MARVEL Strike Force and Star Trek ™ Fleet Command).

The three ‘Most Beautiful Games’ can also be played for free (Asphalt 9: Legends, Badland Brawl, and SHADOWGUN LEGENDS). Other candidates are the apps, including Kinedu and My Oasis, for the ‘Wellness App’ category, Envision AI, and TintVision for ‘Best User Experience’, Wisdo, and Think! Think! as the ‘Best social app’, Pluto TV, and Tubi TV in the ‘Best entertaining app’ section, Tick Tock for the award in the ‘Most Inventive Application’ category and Tasty by BuzzFeed, claiming to be ‘Best Informational application’.

Choose Your Winner

While the experts at Google are working relentlessly, choosing winners of the Play Awards 2019 in nine different categories, we advice you to download some of the nominated applications and games and make your own decision on which ones deserve to be called the best. The ‘User’s Choice’ in the Games category was first introduced last year, and the award went to the PUBG Mobile.

Make your bids and share your thoughts with us! Tell us which apps and games from the nominee lists you like better.
